Who is credited on the pages, and what that credit does and does not claim.
Pages on TartanFoundry carry a collective byline rather than a personal one. A person is named on a page only when that person wrote or reviewed it, and a credential is shown only when it is real and relevant. Until that is true of an individual, the byline stays collective.

Research and editing
Pages are compiled from published sources, which are listed on each page with an evidence level. Where sources disagree or are silent, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
What a byline means here
- It says who compiled the page from the listed sources. It does not claim first-hand testing, fieldwork or expertise that has not happened.
- Each page lists its sources, and every source has an evidence level from A to E. See the methodology.
- The rules for writing and reviewing are in the editorial policy.
